Amin Abedi (also known by the online alias aminabedi68) (He/him/his) (1990-) is a self-taught Iranian type designer and font engineer best known for two of his works: Estedad (an open-source Arabic-Latin sans typeface) and Pinar (a modern Perso-Arabic commercial typeface) and recognized for his contribution to the word of typography. he has some other opensource and commercial projects in GitHub (Mikhak, Dabir-Latin, etc.) and his foundry fontamin.com (Onvan, Badee, AzarMehr, Mahoor, etc.), also some other fonts (designed and developed by him like: Kahroba (a super family Perso-Arabic typeface with 180 style), Liana) and in associated with other type designers (as font engineer, like: Yekta, Hamta, Golchin, Gohar, etc.) published and available as commercial fonts in fontiran.com

Amin Abedi overcome a wide range of type design and especially font development challenges during his more than 7 years of continues compact experience in his career. he shares some of these experience in GitHub opensource font projects (like Estedad, Mikhak, Dabir-Latin and their build scripts and python scripts), also an exclusive python project for fontforge named AutoMark, adding opentype mark feature & Anchor placement for Arabic letters completely automatic.
